Our commitment
Obraups should work for everyone who uses it, including people who use assistive technology. This statement covers obraups.com, the Obraups application that subscribers' staff use, the public site pages Obraups provides for each subscribing business, and the page their customers use to review and sign estimates.
Standard and current status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Our automated checks report no violations on the pages they test. Automated checks can't find every barrier, and we haven't had an independent accessibility audit or tested with screen readers, so we describe our status as working toward that standard rather than meeting it.
What we've done
- Automated WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA checks run against obraups.com, the public site pages Obraups provides to businesses, the estimate signing page, and the list pages of the staff application.
- Public site pages are checked for reflow at narrow screen widths and for readable text when letter, word and line spacing are increased.
- Rescheduling an appointment in the staff calendar can be done with a keyboard, without dragging.
- Customers can sign an estimate by typing their name instead of drawing a signature.
Compatibility
We test in current web browsers at desktop and phone screen sizes. We haven't yet tested in every browser, or with screen readers.
Known limitations
- Drawing a signature on the estimate page needs a mouse, touch screen or stylus. Typing your name is available on the same page as an alternative.
- Our automated checks cover the main view of the estimate signing page, not its signed, declined or expired views.
- PDF copies of estimates and invoices haven't been checked for accessibility.
Other formats and help
If you need information from obraups.com or the Obraups application in another format, or need help using any part of it, email [email protected] and we'll work with you to provide it. If you are a customer of a business that uses Obraups and need help with an estimate or invoice, you can also ask that business directly.
Feedback
If you run into a barrier, email [email protected] with the page address and what happened. We aim to respond within two business days.
Ongoing effort
We'll keep working on accessibility and update this statement as our testing and the product change.
